Excellent PowerPoint, which explains students how to calculate the product of two fractions first by multiplying the numerator and denominator and as learning progresses by cross-simplifying(cancelling). The presentation includes a warm-up activity, which covers prime factors and multiples, adding with decimals and finding percentages. More able students are challenged to multiply mixed fractions. The presentation leads perfectly into the differentiated worksheets, which come with answer sheets! I taught this lesson to my Year 6 class and they made great progress!
