This bundle meets all specification points needed to teach Topic 13 (topic 17 for Separate Science) “Groups in the Periodic Table” from the Edexcel GCSE 9-1 Combined Science course. The bundle includes four full lesson PowerPoints and associated resources plus my overview and equipment lists for all Year 10 and Year 11 Combined & Triple Science. Having delivered this to three classes already, my suggested teaching order is: Noble Gases, Alkali Metals, Halogens and Halogen Reactivity. This gets the dry intro out of the way first before focusing solidly on the more complex topics that typically feature on exam papers.
