Energy in Food (Burning Food) Year 7 Double Lesson PowerPoint (KS3 7Ia) Energy topic

This PowerPoint allows two lessons to be taught in which students burn foods to determine their relative energy contents, then answer (and mark) in-depth analysis questions about the experiment. The format of the lesson is designed to begin embedding core practical analysis skills at an early age. The lesson is in keeping with the current KS3 UK National Curriculum, is easily accessible for students and simple to follow for teachers. This package also includes an overview and equipment list for the entire 7I Energy topic, which is available from my shop.
