A fun resource for students when developing awareness of basic tense types. 10 templates, 9 of which have a verb written at the bottom of the rainbow. Students can write a past tense sentence relating to the verb in the orange band, a present tense sentence in the green band and a future tense in the purple band. This resource is a little more challenging from my rainbow template version due to the past tense word change. The gaps next to the tense words can be used to write the word (according to the tense) or to write a whole sentence. I have used it for both. Tenses can also be colour coordinated.

Cards will need to be pre-cut. This activity can be group based or an individual, cut and paste exercise to put in student workbooks.

Dinosaur themed visual sentence building cards. Students will need to include an auxillary verb, possessive noun and a preposition (or more depending on the length of the sentence.) This is a neat confidence boosting activity for early literacy.
