My Business students have a good business knowledge but terms in the exam questions seem to confuse them. These two sheets show keywords used in previous exam papers which I am using as a final revision tool with students.

Paired Discussion/Written-based Revisision Activity Discussion Cards for Component 3 - B1 & B2 Cyber Security Peer: Read the card asking the same questions for each key concept: What is it? How is this relevant to business? Why is this relevant to me? Once discussion has taken place, the student then writes a paragraph summarising the discussion. Converting Denary to Hexadecimal (via binary) A spreadsheet demonstrating a quick way to convert denary to hexadecimal via binary. Teacher solution and student worksheet included.

Binary Addition This resource uses a spreadsheet to teach binary addition, and then encourages students to do a double-check to ensure that their answer is correct. By teaching via spreadsheet first, they will get into the habit of adding the 1s and 0s correctly, so that when doing it written, their mind knows the process to follow. Class discussion of key terms, and once discussed, animation moves the keyword 'in the bag'. Used to inspire confidence in students, and split up with questions to get the students thinking.

Issue to students in the first lesson of the week (stick into learning journal/homework diary). Students to learn their fact.
