A document that examines what questions have been asked on previous topics before on AQA Psychology papers (Year 2 ones only). It plots how many marks have been asked on each sub-topic and then colour codes the topics by how likely there is to be an exam question on them in the next exam: Red - less likely Green - Likely Disclaimer: AQA does not follow a pattern with exam questions and there is every chance even the “red coded” areas can be asked. This is purely for teachers to use to devise mocks etc and I wouldn’t advise giving this to students.

This is a full lesson for OCD treatments. Designed for the AQA Psychology Psychopathology module. It should take 1.5-2 hours. It covers SSRI’s and BZ’s and makes use of the Cat book for evaluating. It includes: Powerpoint for teaching Assessment questions and mark schemes on OCD and definitions of Abnormality Gap Fill for whole of OCD Synaptic Transmission recap for understanding how drugs work.

I usually only get them to take notes on the description of each design and then they do the card sort to get the evaluation for each. I use the experiment resources to demonstrate the differences in the designs and also to get them thinking about the strengths and weaknesses. Made for AQAPsychology A-level but could be easily adapted for other boards. This is a presentation I work through with my students while they are revising research methods - it includes over 60 slides (some with content and some with indications of a task to complete). I usually teach short sections of research methods and then get them to complete the activities in the corresponding booklet. This took me 3-4 lessons of 90 minutes each to complete it all but some could be set for homework.
