This lesson contains a variety of resources and activities to help students learn about the causes, events and overall impact of the Great Plague in England, 1665. RECAP: Students asked to share ideas about their prior learning about workhouses and then can be supported by the use of a short video clip. STARTER: 6 source sheets with extracts from a cartoon source have been divided up so groups of students can focus on different issues of the workhouse, before feeding back to the class. This should get the students warmed up before looking specifically at more exam based sources.
