Make up a story
This activity consists of 4 photos. Each photo has next to it 3 questions that the students need to first translate (if non-English natives), and then use their imagination to answer. The questions include present, past and future tenses. This activity can be useful, both for students of the English language (non-natives), to help them improvise when tackling creative writing/speaking and for English native speakers to develop their creativity.
This resource exists in its Spanish version, named “Inventa una historia”.

Esta actividad consiste de 4 fotos. Cada foto tiene al lado 3 preguntas que los estudiantes deberán primero traducir, y luego responder usando su imaginación. Las preguntas incluyen presente, pasado y futuro. Esta actividad puede ser útil, especialmente para estudiantes de GCSE, para ayudarles a improvisar cuando se enfrenten a actividades de escritura creativa y/o de comunicación verbal.
Esta actividad existe en su versión en inglés, llamada “Make up a story”. This resource exists in its Spanish version, named “Inventa una historia”.
Propósitos de Año Nuevo / New year resolutions (Future plans)
This 4 pages worksheet includes 7 exercises in total. First, the students will revise vocabulary on infinitives and expressions that indicate future. Then, there is a reading activity, a grammar activity (underline infinitives, connectives…), a translation into English, a small questionarie (that can be a speaking activity in class). Finally, there is a small writing, where the students will produce in Spanish their own new year’s resolutions. This resource can be used as classwork, homework or remote learning. Perfect to revise future plans for GCSE, both Foundation and Higher (includes subjunctive).

Worksheet present perfect or presente/pretérito perfecto
This worksheet includes the grammatical explanation of the presente/pretérito perfecto (present perfect tense). It has a verb formation exercise, a short reading comprehension and two exercises (listening and translation) based on an authentic resource: a song. It can be used as classwork or homework. Perfect to learn or revise the present perfect tense for GCSE.

Poster "Se busca" (Wanted)
A set of 3 posters to suit different needs. Great activity for KS3 students or young learners after they have learned to make physical descriptions of other people. Can be used as a homework, cover work or distance learning.
The students will have to create a “Se busca” (Wanted) poster and write a description of the “wanted” subject in Spanish. This will help to practice and consolidate vocabulary on descriptions and potentially hobbies descriptions and other aspects as well.
IB Spanish B Oral Presentation Aid (Standard)
This resource offers a range of sentence starters for the first part (presentation of visual stimulus) of the IB Spanish B Standard Speaking paper.
The resource is divided in 4 sections with information/sentence starters that can be included in the presentation and suggested times for each section. Some of those sentence starters include complex structures like subjunctive.

Saber y conocer
Worksheet: includes theory and exercises (subjunctive and indicative). Can be used for KS5 to learn when to use saber or conocer in Spanish (both mean “to know”). One exercise requires to select the right verb and in the right present (indicative) form, and another exercise requires to select the right verb saber/conocer in any form from present (indicative and subjunctive) or imperfect subjunctive.

Viva 2 - Module 2 Homework Television Reading
Reading comprehension worksheet with answers. Great as homework, cover work or independent work. Powerpoint with the answers included for class marking, with animations to reveal one answer at a time.
This worksheet is very useful for the topic on TV and music form the Viva-2 book. It includes an email between two friends written in Spanish and 3 exercises to check reading comprehension.
On the first exercise, the students will have to write True or False to a number of statements and give an explanation for the false ones.
On the second exercise, the students will have to fill in the gaps in English with information from the text.
And on the third exercise, the students will need to find on the text, the equivalent (in Spanish) of a number of words/expressions.
The worksheet with the answers has been included. In order to facilitate the marking in class, a powerpoint with the answers animated has also been included.

Viva 1 Tapas y precios
Worksheet with answers. Useful to consolidate/revise “tapas” vocabulary and numbers (prices).
The worksheet contains three exercises:
On the first exercise, the students will need to put in order a number of “tapas” items which their prices spelled in Spanish from the least to the most expensive.
On the second exercise, the students will have to translate a number of “tapas” and other food/drink items into Spanish. For the answers, there are some boxes provided and in each box they will need to write a letter. Some of these boxes have little numbers on top, which will be used then to complete the secret message, which is the last exercise.
Answers to all of the exercises are included.
