Worship Worksheets (Christian Practices GCSE)

My students love getting these worksheets because it gives them independence and you can take a break from teaching from the front. For differentiation I will highlight bits I want certain student to focus on. This worksheet covers the whole topic of Christian worksheet (7pages). This worksheet contains: What is worship Forgiveness Types of worship Public and private worship Examples of worship worship across denominations The value of ritual Types of ritual 12 mark essay This resource will not be completed in a single lesson. You can give it as an in class activity and go through some parts together or as a holiday homework or series of homeworks. Usually it is suggested you use the AQA Buddhism book to supplement these lessons but for this lesson you can do without it. If the resource was a success please do leave me a nice REVIEW :)
Introducing Jesus in KS3

Introducing Jesus in KS3

5 Resources
This resource was designed with the new worldviews curriculum in mind. The bundle traces some key events in the life of Jesus. This is a KS3 resource, year 7s-9. If you wish to expand it further to consider Jesus as Messiah. You could also consider discussing the Parables, Holy week, Life after death etc if you want to spread it out for a term. Otherwise this resource set can be completed in a half term if done efficiently. I personally try to cover a lot in KS3 and move through topics quite swiftly but there is also benefits to stretching this material out, to use the HW sheets as in class materials and then offer shorter homework tasks from textbooks etc. All resources should be supplemented with effective questioning to reap the best results! ‘Tell me more about that?’ ‘Does anyone disagree?’ ‘Why might Jesus have done this?’ etc.

Politics resources are few and far between and often of not very high quality. I have got to a place where I feel confident that using my resources I can get fantastic grades and create great and up to date lessons in Politics. This year I started doing Politics teaching consultancy and it made me aware of how difficult a lot of teachers are finding it to build appropriately challenging, in depth and up to date resources. Now I am making some available. This resource can only be bought as a bundle as it contains a whole unit of work for the topic of Ideologies: Liberalism. Each lesson reflects and builds upon the next. Alongside resources that I have made, the range of Edexcel Politics textbooks - particularly the Heywood textbook, which is the best textbook for ideologies, a picture of the relevant book is on the slides. If there are answers in the slide notes to questions that you do not know the answers to, you can produce quick answers by plugging in the questions into ChatGPT but if you follow the lessons in order you should find that the circular nature of the resources means that you are always building on previous knowledge. These resources are four years in the making, they offer both a great combination of knowledge and skills development. This pack of slides are PDF format and were made using Canva, which increases the visual appeal but makes editing more difficult, which is reflected in the price. The links are all not necessary I get fantastic results and happy classrooms so I hope you do to. This contains ten 1hr lessons that match up to the specification (140 slides - some examples given). Liberalism Introduction Liberalism Individualism Liberalism Freedom and Liberty Liberalism Tolerance and Rationalism Liberalism Equality and Democracy Liberals on the State Liberals on the Economy Strands of Liberalism: A contradiction?
