The activities included are; ♦ CVC Gum Ball Sorting Students have to match the medial sound of the CVC word on the gum ball into the correct/matching gum ball machine. ♦ CVC Shadow Matching Task Cards Students have to match the correct image to the shadow of the image shown from a choice of 3 options. ♦ CVC Medial Sound Task Cards Students have to find the correct medial sound for the image shown on the task card out of a choice of 3 options. ♦ CVC Write the Room Hide the cards around the room or in sensory bins etc. and have students hunt them out and then record them on their sheet! ♦ CVC Spelling Frame Task Cards Students fill in the spelling frames to spell the CVC word of the image on the task card.
