I highly recommend cutting each task card out individually and laminating so that they will be stronger and longer lasting.
Using magnetic or foam letters is a great way to make an activity more interactive and enjoyable for your students. I recommend purchasing some letters from a local store or on Amazon for this activity.
You can either leave letters out on a table or make the activity even more fun by hiding the letters in sensory trays and/or using fishing rods to catch the magnetic letters.

This resource contains a fun CVC game where students have to use a fishing rod to catch the matching CVC words on the fish.
You will need to purchase/have a fishing rod to play this game.
It is your personal preference how you use the rod with the fish, you can stick a paperclip to the back of the fish to use with a magnetic fishing rod or you can use a paper clip that sticks out past the fish mouth and bend up to be used with a grabber fish rod - as shown in the images.
