Works well on its on or could be used in conjunction with the games and activities in my resource ‘Spanish Christmas Navidad Español’ (£3). Students to play in pairs or small groups. Vocabulary includes: Father Christmas – Papá Noel Christmas tree – arból de navidad baubles – bolas de navidad elves – elfos reindeer – reno presents – regalos snowman – muñeco star – estrella Students roll the dice and count on that number of spaces. When they land on a picture students must say the correct vocabulary. If students land on circle, they must go back ‘retrocede’. If they land on a diamond, students go forward ‘avanza’. Great for practicing vocabulary and getting the whole class talking. A board game to help students practice common questions about themselves and numbers to 10. The questions are: ¿Cómo te llamas? Me llamo… ¿Cuántos años tienes? Tengo… ¿Cómo estás? Estoy… ¿Dónde vives? Vivo… Students roll the dice and count on that number of spaces. If they land on a question, students ask and answer that question to their partner. If they land on the number they must say the number or as an extra challenge they can say 1 more or 1 less. If students land on circle, they must go back ‘retrocede’.
