Over the years I have taught English, Maths, PSHE, Film Studies, Media Studies as well as Drama. As a result of teaching many subjects I have spent hours creating schemes and resources so I am hoping this will save you a lot of time. I hope it does.
I also have many years experience as a Pastoral Leader / SEN Teacher meaning I also have resources to support effective behaviour management, safeguarding and Special Educational Needs.

The concept of this devising assessment is that students analyse four pieces of art and create four pieces of original drama based on the art work. The final performance will be set in an art gallery where students bring the art to life and can stage the performance to include the audience. You can also add in an art gallery worker to escort the audience around the gallery.
There are four lessons included in the power point to create the work, but students will then rehearse this towards an assessment.
There is a work book to enable students to keep a log book of the decisions that they have made.
There are also cards which have key vocal and physical terms on which can be used in any drama lesson to encourage students to include these words during evaluations.
For copyright reasons, I am unable to include the four pictures, but the questions will fit any piece of art meaning you would be able to just insert the pictures into the power point and work book.
This angles lesson is created to introduce students to angles within a triangle, and how these vary according to whether it is an isosceles, scalene or equilateral triangle. Students are also encouraged to consider the similarities and differences of these different triangles.
There is one section where you will need to insert your own triangle angles questions based on what you use within school. I am unable to do this due to copyright reasons.
The lesson starts with a card sort of general angles, a card sort I use at the start of every angles lesson as a bell activity, and build it into a competition as to who can complete it the quickest.
This card sort contains the names of angles and has a brief description of the angle.
This drama unit of work is based on character's in a family tree. It has been written for a KS3 Drama group, but could also be used for a devising unit. The unit of work contains lesson objectives, lesson outcomes, suggested activities, suggested open and closed questions and homework.
There is a workbook to accompany the unit of work, as well as four power points.
The concept of the lesson is that someone has stole a Birthday cake, and students have to investigate this crime by gathering clues which will then be used to create a piece of drama. It can be used for both KS3 and KS4 classes.
This lesson involves completing a market place activity where students will collect information from three stations and then complete drama tasks. There is a team sheet outlining what students need to do, extension tasks at each station and a team work evaluation sheet where students can identify what good team building skills they have used. All information for each station is also included.
The lesson plan includes learning objectives, learning outcomes, suggested activities, personal learning and thinking skills, extension tasks, suggested open and closed questions and cross-curricular links to English and PSHE.
There are five sets of marking slips included in this resource where most are also differentiated. This means they can also be used as challenge cards within your classroom.
The topics included are:
Converting decimals, fractions and percentages.
Co-ordinates
Number (Multiplication and Division Exam Questions)
Rounding Numbers
Symmetry, Reflection and Rotation
This resource includes 3 power point slides for an Autumn Term Focus Display where kind words and kind actions are the focus areas. There are suggested words that we could all say to encourage us all to use kind words and demonstrate kind actions. The Spring Term Focus also has 3 power point slides and the focus areas here are accepting difference and personal responsibility. These also have suggestions as to how we can achieve these key areas. You can swap the focus areas around depending upon school priorities in place.
This bell activity booklet contains 9 drama word searches presented in a booklet form. There is also an answer booklet showing where all of the answers are for each word search. Topics include costume, lighting, set, explorative strategies, voice, movement, genre, elements and mediums.
This unit of work contains learning objectives, learning outcomes, differentiation, closed and open suggested questions as well as tasks. There is also a student resource booklet included.
The unit of work covers the national and school environment and recycling.
Students will be guided to complete a school survey and create an action plan for environment improvements, as well as try to persuade others to recycle. This is a six week unit of work.

This assembly promotes reflection about how our conduct can impact upon the atmosphere and ethos created within school.
There is a slide on respect, why we should look after each other, achieving our best, enjoying ourselves and following our rules, The final slide asks for students to reflect upon personal behaviour.
This assembly develops thinking around the key topic of respect. It asks questions about whether students respect the rules of the school, the dining room, the environment, other people, the classroom and the corridors. It enables the person delivering the assembly to clearly outline school expectations on the topic of respect and reinforces the point that personal responsibility is key to living in a respectful environment.
There are five KS3 drama cover lessons included, as well as a word search starter that can be used as a bell activity for any cover lesson.
The soap characters and chat show lesson is a lesson plan containing learning objectives, learning outcomes, suggested activities, suggested open and closed questions, homework and extended activities.
The pantomime lesson is a lesson plan containing learning objectives, learning outcomes, suggested activities, suggested open and closed questions as well as reference to personal, learning and thinking skills.
The "How should a play end" and "Hamlet Cover" contains learning objectives and suggested activities.
The Black History drama cover involves students researching influential figures, and then students becoming those characters in an original setting. You will need to provide the information about these figures from the internet. The lesson contains objectives and suggested activities.
This assembly focuses on how words can impact upon people's lives.
The first part of the assembly looks at how words like "grass" and "snitch" should be replaced with "life saver" and "friend", and the second part of the assembly looks at how kind words and kind actions should become our focus.
This anti-bullying assembly has been created with the theme of "All Different All Equal" as a main focus. The assembly looks at some of the differences we all have, but reinforces the fact that this does not affect equality. We are all equal. The assembly asks the question as to whether we should judge differences and the impact words have on others.
This assembly looks at the ideas of banter and bullying, and focuses on how banter can also be bullying. The assembly looks at different behaviours, how banter via social media is wrong and how behaviour is viewed by others. The assembly poses some reflective questions for students where the person delivering can make it clear that any form of hurtful banter is wrong.
This assembly looks at the theme “Choose Respect”. Key ideas include understanding that bullying is a behaviour choice, respect in general, how can disagree respectfully, what could be seen as disrespectful as well as how we can choose respect on-line, in our community, in our school and in person.
Some of these slides could also be used for a RESPECT display.
This scheme of work has been written to support the delivery of Component 3 Section B in the new Edexcel GCSE Drama specification. The unit of work could be adapted for any Live Performance Review unit being delivered at GCSE level.
This is an SEND CPD resource. There is information about ADHD, Asperger’s Syndrome and Autism as well as strategies that could be used within the classroom when teaching students with these conditions. There is a combination of information slides and activities that staff can do to support the teaching of students with these conditions.
