This KS3 Drama lesson includes a lesson plan, power point, challenge cards, homework activity, bell activity and all resources. These resources also include badges that you can individualise putting students names into them. They can then be printed off as stickers. Students will investigate a crime that has happened at a house by visiting three stations of clues. They will then create their piece of drama, and have evaluation cards like strategy detective, technique detective and target detective in order to focus the evaluations. There are challenge cards to challenge higher ability students within your group.

This power point looks at how behaviour needs to have a graduated response, and how it is important for all staff to understand what this graduated response should be for each form of behaviour. There are also three scenarios that can be discussed to ensure responses to situations are consistent. I have also created a worksheet that every member of staff can then keep as a reference once the workshop has been completed. This means that when you have established what the first, second, third and fourth responses are for your setting, staff can consistently apply them. This worksheet could be used throughout the year at meetings to keep behaviour management high profile.

This assembly aims to deliver a clear message about how accepting and embracing differences will lead to creating a more positive world for us to live in. There are references to homophobia, racism, ageism, sexism and discrimination in general. The assembly also features three positive role models who embraced and celebrated elements of diversity which led to positive changes being made.

It asks questions about whether students respect the rules of the school, the dining room, the environment, other people, the classroom and the corridors. It enables the person delivering the assembly to clearly outline school expectations on the topic of respect and reinforces the point that personal responsibility is key to living in a respectful environment.

The assembly asks the question as to whether we should judge differences and the impact words have on others.

The assembly looks at different behaviours, how banter via social media is wrong and how behaviour is viewed by others. The assembly poses some reflective questions for students where the person delivering can make it clear that any form of hurtful banter is wrong.

This assembly focuses on promoting positive mental health through encouraging people to accept and then address. The assembly looks at how celebrities are encouraging people to speak about mental health, the on-line support available, challenges that can encourage a more positive mindset and how highlighting is key to success.
