This drama improvisation scheme of work was written for a KS3 Drama group. It contains suggested activities with extension tasks, homework, lesson objectives, learning objectives and suggested closed and open questions for each lesson. There are seven lessons included in the scheme of work.

There are five cover lessons included here which are all based on the play "Blood Brothers." These can also be used as one off lessons. Ideally, all of these lessons would benefit from students being able to use the scripts, but this is not essential. The lessons include: Blood Brothers - A Different Ending? This unit of work looks at the genre of pantomime and enables students to look at pantomime conventions, characterisation, dialogue and production values. It can be used as a KS3 scheme of work, or for any devised unit at KS4. The unit of work contains lesson objectives, learning outcomes, suggested class and homework activities and suggested open and closed questions. There are also a selection of resources included.

This PSHE scheme of work addresses the rights and responsibilities everyone has in order to ensure social media is a safe place to be. It was written to deliver in Year 9 PSHE, but could be used for Years 7 - 9. The scheme of work develops debating skills where arguments for and against social media headlines are debated. The scheme of work includes suggested activities, homework, suggested open and closed questions, learning objectives and outcomes. Their are five power points to accompany each lesson.

This power point looks at how behaviour needs to have a graduated response, and how it is important for all staff to understand what this graduated response should be for each form of behaviour. There are also three scenarios that can be discussed to ensure responses to situations are consistent. I have also created a worksheet that every member of staff can then keep as a reference once the workshop has been completed. This means that when you have established what the first, second, third and fourth responses are for your setting, staff can consistently apply them. This worksheet could be used throughout the year at meetings to keep behaviour management high profile.

This staff CPD resource looks at how non-verbal behaviour management strategies can be used to promote positive behaviour and avoid confrontation. The CPD looks at how red, amber and green cards can be used within a lesson, as well as how routine can be a great behaviour management tool when your routines are established. Staff will be asked to create an action plan based on the ideas from the workshop where they focus on one class. There are also reminder cards included as to how red, amber, green cards could be used to achieve a whole staff consistent approach. These can be adaped to suit your setting.

This CPD focuses on areas of managing behaviour for positive outcomes from a teaching and learning perspective. The focus areas are: the environment, engagement, differentiation and rewards. There is a worksheet that each member of staff can have to record ideas, and at the end of the workshop each member of staff would complete a promise postcard where they promise to try one of the ideas. These postcards will be collected at the end of the workshop, and returned to staff at the end of the term so they can evaluate their personal progress and review impact.

This power point was created to show how SEND Learners can be individually tracked ensuring clear targets and monitoring. The rationale is explained, and this can be delivered to SEN specialist teams or adapted for Faculties / Departments / Pastoral Teams. The CPD has been spilt into two sections which include: 1 - To embed a tracking system to monitor progress 8 leading to a robust and measurable intervention programme for SEN students in Years 7 – 11. 2 – To maximise outcomes through developing SEN Teaching and Learning provision, including the use of LSA’s. The power point leads you through the information which is supported by an example of the tracking document on word which can be adapted for any setting.

This unit of work consists of six hour long workshops. Each workshop has an objective, and suggested activities. Some of the objectives include: To consider how different interpretations of role can alter the dramatic impact on audience To develop insight into the personal and moral dilemmas addressed within the play# There is an accompanying power point to support the unit of work.

A scheme of work written for Unit 2 (Old Edexcel Syllabus) but can be adapted for Component 2 of the new syllabus. This scheme of work contains learning objectives, learning outcomes, suggested activities, open and closed question suggestions and homework. The accompanying power point supports the scheme of work. This is a six week scheme of work where each week contains three one hour lessons.
