Words vary in difficulty and demand on prior vocabulary knowledge so will suit children of differing abilities. Good opportunities for discussion and use of thesaurus if needed.

Task comprising of 3 different exercises that require greater depth thinking to tackle multi-step questions. Good for maths reasoning and a challenge that is suitable for both individual or group work. Work requires knowledge of area (rectangle, triangle and parallelogram), perpendicular height and when to use the four operations to solve different parts of the problem.

A reading comprehension resource suitable for years 5 and 6. The story is a four page short spooky storyin keeping with the Halloween time of year.
