My resources aim to make planning more efficient and support targeting to raise pupil progress. This covers specific 3,4 and 6 mark questions from Unit 1 June 2012 for the AQA Spec B June 2012 paper 1. The presentation helps pupils observe in bullet point form and helps them practice questions using mark scheme based answers. in many cases pupils were pleasantly surprised to see some of the responses that can help them pick up marks. This can be used over and over again to support interventions as well as lesson specific activities.

This will be the last year for this spec but it is very relevant for the new GCSE 9-1 Religious studies GCSE targeted towards Grade 1-6. Each key concept or word has the most relevant quotes so pupils can have a one stop shop as to the most appropriate quotes. These quotes and beliefs are from the AQA Mark scheme for each unit and builds on my topic specific knowledge organisers but is explicitly linked to religious quotes and beliefs.

The New Grade 9-1 Framework for GCSE RS began this term. The Assessment Framework supports grade boundaries and the statement of attainment concerning each grade from 9-1. This is still in its infancy but the move away from levels has caused confusion and resulted in numerous systems. I hope and trust this is helpful. This was mainly developed to bridge the Key Stage 3 move away from levels and make it representative of GCSE 9-1.

A Lesson on official statistics in crime to support a critical awareness of what Official statistics show. Pupils can also engage with a self report study to develop an awareness of other methodologies. It was an engaging lesson and pupils enjoyed playing a detective. They also noticed that the disadvantages and advantages were misplaced which was good as they recognised advantages and disadvantages of the survey method.

A Marking codes insert for exercise books that supports Literacy and writing for progress based on the Grade 9-1 GCSE in Religious Studies for AQA. I know many colleagues in schools are using VFG or verbal feedback given. This slide is mainly focussed on the humanities specifically on Religious Studies to support pupils acting on VFG Stamps. AQA SPEC A GRADE 9-1 TABLE to support pupils with a broad understanding of what grade they are. The new SPEC has yet to publish actual numbers on what the Grade 9-1 will look like in practice and we will be waiting till 2018 before knowing the boundaries. This PPT should help give an indication for teachers and staff. The grade boundaries have been developed with our Local SACRE and involve skills, knowledge and bloom commands. The removal of levels has essentially led to new levels however, these descriptors bridge with KS4 outcomes.
