I am a PE teacher who has taught the subject for 14 years. I teach A Level to the OCR specification. I have worked for Ofqual to accredit the new specifications, so know the new A Level PE course inside out. I also teach G.C.S.E PE to the Edexcel spec. I am a practical moderator at GCSE level and an exam marker at A Level. I also teach BTEC level 3 Unit 1 and I have worked again for Ofqual to look at this vocational course and to compare it with others, namely the OCR technicals.

This is another revision booklet for the module of AS & A2 Acquisition of Skill for the new OCR specification. It is a colourful booklet that contains a contents page where the 7 topics of skill are listed with columns for GOOD, MEDIUM, POOR for knowledge. This booklet also contains the A2 topic Memory also, on Craik & Lockart & Atkinson & Schiffren.
Then in colour coded fashion there are lots of questions on each of the topics with a blank box for the student to write in the answer. This helps to see what students know/don’t know!!
I have found it useful with my students, as it reminds them a) what topics there are!! and b) what they have forgotten!!
This is an entire powerpoint (79 slides) for all of the modules of the new spec OCR AS Skill Acquisition topic. It includes the total skill specification and breaks it down into the 7 modules including:
1. Classification of skills (the 6 continuua)
2. types & methods of practice (distributed, massed, fixed, varied, whole, WPW, part, PP)
3. Transfer of skills (bilateral, retro, pro, positive/negative)
4. Principles & theories of learning movement skills (operant, cognitive, social)
5. stages of learning (cognitive, associative, autonomous)
6. guidance (manual, mechanical, visual, verbal)
7. feedback (KR, KP, positive, negative, internal, external)
There are lots of slides on each topic with pictures and theory behind the content. There is also the specification for each of the topics, so you know you have taught the correct stuff!! There are past paper questions & answers and tables for the critically evaluate parts of the course. I found this really important as lots of the topics of the old skill specification had changed. i.e. lots had been taken out.
This is 5 mind maps (horizontal on word document) on Unit 1 (Anatomy & Physiology) for BTEC Sport Nationals L3.
Each page covers a whole topic:
Topic A: Skeletal System
Topic B: Muscular System
Topic C: Respiratory System
Topic D: CardioVascular System
Topic E: Energy Systems
There are lots of boxes with questions/bullet points/fill in the gaps to get the students to see what they have remembered or forgotten.
I have printed mine out at A3 size.
These are all the key words for the OCR A Level PE topic Skill Acquisition. It covers all the new specification (2016+) topics.
The words are colour coded and in large letters. I have mine stuck on the wall and also cut out so the students can play “what am i?”
If anyone is doing exercise physiology or biomechanics please swap?!!
This is a bundle of resources to help students answer the 20 mark synoptic extended questions in each of the 3 papers. It is an A01-AO3 pieces, explaining the key words and a triangle and rectangle box for students to add in their responses in the correct place (I use this at GCSE too). A Blooms Taxonomy sheet to explain the AO1 to AO3 key words. A D question help card that has a section by section approach in how to tackle a question. A D questioning planning sheet with the markscheme. A diamond 9 activity sheet and 3 good 18/20, 17/20 D answers on History, Exercise Physiology and Sport Psychology with the AO2 and AO3 elements in italics and bold so its clear to see for the students.
This is a revision document for the new specification AS Level PE course for OCR. It covers all the AS topics from Bones, Joints, Movements, Muscles, Action Potention/All or None Law, CV at Rest, CV at exercise, Respiratory at Rest, Respiratory at Exercise. Each page is devoted to one of the topics and has enough detail for the students to show if they know that area or not. I have used mine as revision for our mocks and as display posters in the room. Might be useful too as a carousel of activities or get them laminated onto the tables.
This is an open evening booklet for students/parents for sixth form open evenings. It contains all the information about the OCR A Level Physical Education course. It is for A Level not for AS. It contains the specification, the breakdown of the units, the grade boundaries, the practical components and blank pages and information where ex students have gone and what they have said about the course.

This is a GCSE PE Edexcel (new spec 2016) resource bundle for the Respiratory System: 1.2.6-1.2.9. There are 13 worksheets and an end of unit test to cover all of these components of this new syllabus.
This is an end of unit test for the Skeletal System section of the NEW SPEC 2016 Edexcel GCSE PE course. It starts with a cover sheet (name, target grade etc with a FAR marking section to give feedback), and the grade boundaries to the new 9-1 scale (this is a guess, but once the boundaries are confirmed it can be updated). The next page has the specification for the module with the question numbers that test that particular section. Then there's the test with a student reflective box at the end.
The second word document is the ANSWERS IN RED.
I am going to use them for my students and collate their results on a big overview sheet. Still working on that one!!

It includes all the specification from Bones, Joints, Movements, the new Neuromuscular Junction section, Planes & Axis, the Cardiovascular System at rest & exercise and the Respiratory system at rest and during exercise. It is a module by module approach with the OCR specification for that particular module/section first slide. Ive created this to help myself and my students but it would save you time. It took me about 6 weeks to make!!! Enjoy...
These are 17 worksheets all about the new Action Potential module and the old topic of Muscle Fibre Types that are in the AS Anatomy & Physiology module for OCR. There are roleplay sheets, tables, tests & answers, quizzes, match up words & key words to cut out. Lots of the resources are colourful and helped my students understand the new module about how the all or none law works.

These revision booklets are for the entire A Level of Sports Psychology for OCR syllabus. One booklet contains questions on the 4 A2 topics and spaces for the students to answer. Ive used it for my students to see what they know/don’t know during the revision months. It contains a RAG page on the 4 topics and then colour coordinated questions in the topics: attributions, self confidence, leadership; stress management.
The other one contains colour coded questions on the 9 AS Sport Psychology topics. From personality to Goal setting.
The other AS revision booklet has the essential condensed information to go with the question booklet. This booklet has a RAG page, and then pages for notes and a sheet to inform the teacher what areas the student doesn’t fully understand.
This is a revision powerpoint quiz with 5 questions on each of the 9 topics of AS Sports Psychology (Personality to Goal Setting). The questions are multiple choice with 4 possible answers A to D. The answers are included after each slide. It is best suited for less able as its just AO1/Define type questions.
