Or alternatively print onto card or laminate if on paper to create a resource that can be used again and again. Activity 2 - Card sort on the mechanism of breathing. There is a differentiated version of this activity with the higher tier version featuring the internal and external intercostal muscles. Activity 3 - Loop game on the topic of the respiratory system and respiration. There is a differentiated version of this activity with the higher tier version featuring the internal and external intercostal muscles. Pupils seem to really enjoy this activity and it not only helps their learning but is fun too. Either print on card or laminate if on paper to make a reusable resource for the classroom. These activities would be useful as a plenary at the end of the topic or as part of a revision lesson.
