This resource is a non-fiction comprehension activity for lower key stage 2 (ages 7-9). There are three differentiated sets of instructions on how to cook a Christmas dinner - Turkey with stuffing balls. It is perfect for using in the weeks before Christmas.
The higher ability booklet has two pages of information for the children to read before they complete 3 pages of ‘what,’ ‘where,’ ‘which,’ ‘how’ and ‘why’ questions. There are also true or false, multiple choice questions and some that require more detailed answers. There are 15 questions in total. The middle and lower ability booklets have the information split into four separate pages with questions on each page. The middle and lower ability each have 14 questions in total.
There is a colour and black & white booklet for each level. Answers are also included.

This is a plan and resources for a beginners Italian lesson to use with KS2. It involves children learning the vocabulary for different pizzas in Italian. The plan could be used for an individual lesson, or as part of a food unit.
The plan gives details of a starter, how to teach the vocabulary, a whole class listening game, a speaking and listening activity, a reading/written activity and a plenary. It is highly interactive and allows children to practise a range of language skills.
