A collection of 3 SPaG activity booklets for year 2 with the theme of summer. All three activities are based on the 2016/2017 SPaG SATs papers, but with colourful images and a summer theme. Each activity contains 18 questions focussing on a range of punctuation and grammar. This includes tenses, sentence types, commas, question marks, full stops, apostrophes, nouns, adjectives, verbs and adverbs. The children are asked to circle, tick, fill in the missing gap, match up words and write full sentences, with all questions based around summer activities. PDF file format

This is a detailed, 10 slide presentation on the suffragette, Emily Davison, who became a martyr for the suffragette movement when she ran in front of the king's horse. Use it as part of a lesson or for an assembly for KS3 or KS4. The presentation covers Emily's education, before moving onto her actions in the suffragette movement, her imprisonment and force feeding and finally her death and legacy. It is based on the KS1 SATs reading paper and includes 3 differentiated levels.
