The activity allows children to practise subordination and coordination, a topic which came up a number of times in recent SPaG papers and sample papers. There are 18 questions for the children to answer. They must read the sentence and tick the correct word to fill the gap. This is how the subordination and coordination questions were formatted in the SATs papers.
