This virtual dollhouse is a rhythm game to help students practice music rhythms and provide teachers an opportunity to assess students in the process. These rhythms include patterns using quarter notes, half notes, double eighth notes, quarter rests and half rests. This TRIAL version includes TWO full working rooms. As in the full version your students visit each room of the mansion to search for the missing pages of music, they are given examples of rhythms to practice. Each room in the house is like a mini game. This gives your students ample opportunities to practice their rhythms and have several turns each! Students search for Megan's sheet music throughout the house. After playing the game with my students, I have added extra sheets of music in each room to ensure that the kids aren't disappointed once one sheet is found! This game can be projected for a whole group to play or played on a tablet for individual or small group work. It can be played over one or several class periods. LOTS of content here!

Marty’s Baseball Museum is an interactive game to help students practice addition, subtraction, multiplication and division facts and provide teachers an opportunity to assess students in the process. Students travel through three scenes in the museum and click on different objects/ people to get math facts to practice. When they get it correct, they learn an interesting fact about baseball. Rhythm Kaboom Game
Materials:
Popsicle sticks
Rhythm cards printed, laminated and cut up from attached sheet
Container to hold the sticks (a powdered drink canister like Crystal Light, I cover them with colorful duct tape or scrapbook paper)
Set Up The Game:
Attach the rhythm and KABOOM cards to the popsicle sticks (hot glue with packing tape works great.)
Put a colored dot on the other end of the popsicle stick (this helps with sorting games that have been mixed up.)
Put all of the sticks in the container, rhythm card first.
Rules to Play:
1. Decide who will go first and choose a popsicle stick from the container without looking.
2. Read the rhythm that is on the stick and check with your partner(s) if your answer is correct. If your answer is correct, you keep the stick. If your answer is incorrect, put the stick back in the container.
3. If you pull a stick with the word KABOOM on it, then you must put all of the sticks that you have into the container, except the KABOOM stick. Do not put it back in the container, put it to the side.
4. Play until all the sticks are used and the person with the most sticks WINS the game.

These cards can be used to label containers that hold rhythm instruments, serve as flash cards to use with students, word walls/word banks or to use in a bulletin board display. Visuals like these are especially helpful with ELL learners or young children who are learning the names of classroom rhythm instruments. They are made to be printed on 8 1/2 by 11 inch card stock.
This is a matching game, where students will match the instrument with a child playing the same instrument. This will help students recognize classroom rhythm instruments and instruments of the orchestra and how they are played. Students place the cards in 4 rows of four face down. Students take turns turning over two cards at a time trying to match the instrument with the musician playing that instrument.
Download the game and print on double sided card stock (borderless) and laminate for best results!
When using with young children (K-1) , I suggest splitting the game up into five mini games and putting into ziplock bags. The students then only have to match 8 instruments/musicians at a time. when they complete the first baggie, they switch to a different bag (group of 8 instruments/musicians) I am including a second set of colored cards with colored dots on the back so that you can sort them into the mini games faster. Also included is a black and white set to save on colored ink.

This is a treble clef note and "musical word" reading game. When designing this product, I was thinking of how my own students love to take turns playing games in my music class. They can’t get enough of it and always want “another turn.” This product has plenty of opportunities for students to have several turns during one class, or over several class periods. Mary's Music Class is an interactive game to help students learn about musical instruments and their families and and provide teachers an opportunity to assess students in the process. Students are given a brief introduction to the families of musical instruments and then are asked to name and sort each instrument into the right family. Also, Mary has lost her lesson plans and which gives students a second turn if they find a missing page! There is over 40 instruments in this game, giving students at least one turn each.
