A simple assessment sheet to be carried out at the end of every half term or term to track progress across the ages and stages of development within the EYFS.
Useful to track Profile achievement towards the ELGs, prior to June formal Profile assessments.
I have attached an image of a completed page, with some comments added, as I did to summarise the Profile before completing reports.
Very useful for team meetings and discussions with LA or SLT to show CPD/staffing needs as well as progress made.

Game cards based on the actual Lego Creationary game. Colours or coloured images to be stuck onto a 6 sided die. Roll the die to choose a category, pick up a game card and turn the timer to create your model. Other players to guess what your model is. x2 is double points if the model is guessed correctly. ? means the player can choose any of the images on their card.
Each time a model is guessed correctly, you get a piece of your favourite colour Lego. Winner is the first to build a tower of 10 pieces.

A set of four motivational posters containing quotations from a variety of sources. Can be used in lessons or display a different quotation each day/week to inspire and motivate children to try their hardest.
Simple chromatography experiment to see who wrote a message in pen on some paper. Children to use felt pens on paper in water, to watch the inks separate. Great idea to introduce reverse colour mixing in EYs or colour separation in Science.

Spellings homework produced. Designed to be a double sided document to stick into homework diaries or spelling books. One side with the spellings list, and the other side with the Best bet for spelling the /oo/ phoneme.
A simple worksheet to be used to record number bonds to 8, when using unifix cubes. Choose 16 cubes, 8 of one colour, and 8 of another. Investigate all the different ways to make 8 using 2 colours.
