A simple table to show numbers of children in the class achieving profile scale points. Useful to highlight teaching/learning areas of strength and weakness in the class. Also, section to mention any children not likely to achieve profile points due to SEN/EAL etc. Section for G&T/scale point 9s. I complete once a term to show class achievement, and then use in a team meeting to show areas for improvement, and also as preparation for EYFS Co-ordinators for their files/talks with SLT/HT/OFSTED

4 images of zoo animals in a 'cage&'. To be laminated and hole-punched, or stuck onto thick card and small snips at the top and bottom edges made. The children can then lace a thread or weave some string/wool, depending on their fine motor ability. Their lacing/weaving will become the bars of the cage. Please also see my other Dear Zoo and zoo animal themed resources.

Tea with the big bad wolf

I created this resource to use alongside the Scholastic lesson plan 'tea with the big bad wolf'. Two small tables to use when looking at spelling rules. First table when orally segmenting two similar words - does the initial/final/medial phoneme sound the same. Tick or cross as appropriate. Then use the second table to compare when spelling the two similar words. Words used for this activity were feel and fell. Works well when used as a word work or phonics session when doing the Three Little Pigs.
