I have been teaching MATHEMATICS (11-16) since 1990. I have regularly been commended on my classroom displays and the quality of my resources as I feel this enriches the student experience.
As a self-taught graphic designer I now produce professional quality materials for our academy/academy chain across all departments including posters/banners and promotional materials. I am currently working on updating some older resources as well as developing new ones!

Quite challenging.
Suggest laminating and using dry wipe markers so can be used again in the future.

just project it on to whiteboard
Watch out for more in this series of resources on SURDS
Use as a worksheets or cut into strips
Blank worksheet included

A ‘MONSTER’ based version for addition/subtraction and also available along with associated CLIP-ART also FREE
Choose from A3, A2 and A1 versions of a poster showing all the prime number less than 10000.
Will need to be printed and the tiles stuck together for A1 and A2 - instructions included
The font size on the A3 version is only 12pt
I always think that the white border around the edge to the final poster should be removed (for me, personally, it looks better and you don’t notice the “joins” as much).
A2 should be 2 x A3 or 4 x A4 sheets to stick together
A1 should be 4 x A3 or 8 x A4 sheets to stick together (depending on your printer settings)
Please make a comment/follow so If there are any updates you can be notified.

In solutions - Scale factor found by dividing largest value by smallest to produce a SF > 1 and then deciding
whether to multiply OR divide by this value. I know not every one takes this approach.
ALSO NOTE
Assets 6 and 16 look like they are the same question but there is a subtle difference.
MATHS - 504 KENKEN LOGIC PUZZLES for BEGINNERS (3x3 grids) + PowerPoint
A great logical thinking exercise for beginners.

Use as a full lesson, filler or starter activity.
Included
504 puzzles (12 per A4) that can be given as is, or cut into strips of 3 or 4 puzzles or even individual puzzles.
2 sets of solutions (although they probably not be needed as the puzzles check themselves but peer marking/checking is easy too)

*** APOLOGIES TO THE FIRST FEW PEOPLE WHO DOWNLOADED THIS RESOURCE as I FOUND A MISTAKE ON Q2
but It was downloaded by some before I had the chance to rectify it.
(I rectified this by putting a ‘1+’ before the last clue on Q2 on each of the files)
THE CURRENT VERSION SHOULD BE OK

-the decimal number
-the Mayan symbol for that number
-the Mayan head GLYPH for that number

I have included 300 dpi JPEGs and PNG’s but where you can use the PDF version as it can scale without pixelating. (in WORD you have to use INSET > Object)
If you do use any of my artwork, please credit it when appropriate.
I also have a set of resources showing how to convert Mayan, base 20 numbers into decimal number
I WILL BE UPLOADING SOME MORE MATHS RELATED MAYAN RESOURCES AVAILABLE SOON
