I set the locks to open on a set combination which can only be got buy answering the questions. The quickest team to get the combination win. This activity generates great fun in class and is worth the investment in a set of cheap combi locks.

Maths Bingo-Properties of 2D Shapes

Fun way of assessing learners ability to identify the properties of 2D shapes. Learners choose 9 numbers from a grid and then answer the questions displayed on screen. Learners then mark off their bingo card. Winner is the person who gets a full house. I usually team this up with mini whiteboards so I can see who is getting the questions right. Useful starter or plenary. Resource contains the question presentation with answers and a bingo card that can be printed off for each learner.
