Uses the car and ramp physics experiment to show step by step how to create a results table. I used it in my classroom as an aide after explaining how to create it. I left it on the board so that slower learners could still complete the task by themselves.

Newtons Law Wordsearches

(0)
3 wordsearches with answers to support the learning of Newtons Laws. I created these for my lower ability to allow them to get a positive experience for learning and as they found the words I would ask what each meant. This way you can understand and know what they have learnt verbally even if they cann’t write it down. Can also be used for cover work where learners find the word then write an explanation of it down - good for gifted and talented. Could be used as a starter when introducing the topic or if you have a difficult class that you want to settle quickly.

3D Shapes - Nets for construction

(0)
These sheets contain 3D nets for learners to construct. Each Net can be reproduced and printed on card to make a great class display while helping learners understand 2D and 3D shapes. In technology they can use it to support paper modelling for the iterative design process. Using basic shapes to construct more elaborate and complex models. In the new Welsh curriculum it achieves: Four Purposes: ambitious capable learners who are questioning and enjoy problem solving and understand how to interpret data and apply mathematical concepts. Enterprising creative contributors who connect and apply their knowledge and skills to create ideas and products. To think creatively to refrain and solve problems. SCITECH: I ca use design thinking to test and refine my design decisions without fear of failure and I can apply my knowledge and skills when making design decisions in order to produce specific outcomes. MATHS: I can relate three dimensional shapes to its two dimensional nets.
