This is a range of KS3 Drama activities. This includes: -A Fairy-tale lesson which was graded as outstanding -A Growth Mind-set SOW which was created in response to a whole school initiative. - A tableau lesson, which was also graded as good. - A KS3 performance diary, with peer, self and teacher assessment, sentence starts and key words. - A drama worksheet based on the importance of drama in the development of interpersonal skills. This resource includes: 7-14 Blood Brother workshops which help students explore and develop their performance, physical and vocal skill for comp 2 (new tech award), A document where they can record their progress for comp 2 and a PP to assist this. A lesson, resource and model example of how students can explore Blood Brothers for comp 1. A document which can be used to allocate students scenes from Blood Brothers.

This is a seven week SOW based around injustice throughout history. This explores slavery, Rosa Parks, The Civil Rights Movement and Hillsborough. This includes a detail SOW with key assessment points, assessment and evaluation sheets and a PowerPoint for each lesson, with resources. The SOW includes clear differentiation opportunities, which are also available on the PowerPoint presentation. I have completed this with year seven, however it is also suitable for year 8. Enjoy!

This includes a range of SOW and resources that are used for the year 9 students. This include: Teechers (3 weeks) Naturalism/Mugged (6 weeks) A Christmas Carol (6 weeks) A Curious Incident/physical theatre (6 weeks) Although this is still KS3, our intention is to prepare students for KS4 - whilst sustaining engagement. This is a bundle of work which is used to evidence my Drama and Dance students component 1 (btec technical award - LAA and LAB) This includes: A range of work analysis booklets that students work through to evidence LAA. A booklet that evidences LAB Each booklet includes model examples and scaffolds to support learners.

This a fully resourced years worth of KS3 lessons (this is for year 8 but could also work for year 7). This includes a full SOW and PP and homework activities for each booklet. Alongside, an evaluation booklet and assessment sheets. The topics include: Improvisation Scripts (Willy Russell) Haunted House Christmas Physical Theatre There are opportunities for stretch and challenge throughout. No additional planning needed.
