Hello and thanks for popping by. I am currently working in a fantastic SEN school. I have worked teaching little minds from EYFS to 18 years old. I have taught inner city, EAL, high FSM/PP, and across many ages in different role. I love working with children! I hope my resources manage to save time and encourage children to think creatively. Here is a practical activity i used in my year 1/2 classroom. The children worked both in groups and independently to record their answers on white boards. Activity Idea This resource can be used by turning the cards over and asking the children taking part to select a random card. Ask them to count how many beans they can see on their card and write the number in the bean tin. After compare the selected cards and ask the children to say who has the most and who has the fewest/ least. I hope this saves you some time and if you find the time please leave a review.

I used these in the maths free play area. They are colour coordinated to show odd and even numbers. I also taped a ten frame to the floor area for the children to place the spiders into the correct places. I hope these help other people too.
