The lesson looks at the Russian revolution why it happened and its impact. Students use this information to think about how and why would it impact America. A chance to link it to previous immigration lessons. This lesson is designed for a 3 year GCSE which allows us to provide lessons which provide more contextual knowledge for this topic. There is a GCSE style question with sentence starters for students who need it and challenge tasks to stretch and challenge the most able. The slide with the bomb is a 20 minute timer, if you press the matchbox it will light the fuse which for 20 minutes will work its way down the bomb and explode. This is to provide students with a time limit for the task in an interactive way
