A staff training presentation for new and experienced cross-subject staff through a 'teaching and learning community' to provide simple in-class strategies to develop learner independence, with the resources to go with the session. It also has a follow up presentation which took place 6 weeks after the first session which addressed questions and allowed staff to feed back and share ideas. The strategies are simple to implement with little or no planning and were very well received.
Along with a class reader this scheme provided a half term unit of work for my y7 SEN English group (working at old NC levels 1-3). There are 10 whole lessons included in the powerpoints and two accompanying work sheets along with the scheme. Would also be suitable for KS2 or as a stand alone 10 lesson project.
I originally used this with my year 8 level 1 - 3 SEN English group. It is an 8 lesson project based on the first two scenes of the play, focusing on Ariel and Prospero with an assessment to create 5 PEE paragraphs, includes resources and powerpoints for each lesson, as well as a scheme of work. It may also be suitable for KS2. In conjunction with a class reader it can provide 5 weeks of lessons (2 Tempest lessons a week for 4 weeks then there are suggestions of creative/fun tempest activities in the final week - this is working on the basis of one reading lesson a week with a class reader). When I previously listed it, it was down loaded over three thousand times/
This is a mini project which lasts between 6 and 8 one hour lessons depending on age, ability nd background knowledge. Pupils research theme parks, creating a leaflet and presenting it to the class (S&L), then design their own and use descriptive language to explain their rides and attractions. They then review their peers theme parks to begin to understand how to structure a review.
A lesson plan, powerpoint and all resources needed for an introductory lesson on alliteration are available in the bundle. I used it for a SEN KS3 group (NC levels p8-2a).

This is a 6 lesson scheme on street dance, with powerpoints, detailed lesson plans, scheme, log and work sheets for lessons and final evaluation/assessment sheets. It should be everything you need to teach apart from movements (there are plenty of youtube video tutorials for simple street dances - dance tutorials live on YouTube is a channel with lots, https://youtu.be/KyBBAMO3CDo is a good beginner/intermediate one) music and a camera to film assessments. It was adapted from my old BTEC Unit 4: Dance Skills learning aim A dance style 1 scheme, which had nearly 1, 000 downloads, with only 5 star ratings and comments such as 'great dance resource', 'saved me so much time'. PLEASE RATE AND REVIEW :)
A scheme of work which runs over 6 weeks when used in conjunction with a class reader.
Introduction to Shakespeare and Macbeth, which also teaches the skills of letter writing, newspaper articles and Point Evidence Explain paragraphs through the topic. Though it covers the whole story in simplified language, it's focus engaging students with Shakespeare and analysis on the characters of the Witches. I have used it with my year 7 SEN English group working at old NC levels 1-3 very successfully for a number of years. When previously listed it had 4.5 star rating with thousands of downloads. I hope it helps you!
