This is a 2 week module on writing an information text about an endangered animal. Week 2 - Researching different saints lesson Week 3 - Investigating the terms martyr and revered Week 4 - The impact saints have had on people’s lives and what they sacrificed. This is research on Martin Luther King and Mother Theresa. I used Twinkl comprehensions to help with this lesson. Week 5 - debate questions -Do you think Jesus is a saint? Should saints be dead before they are recognised? Do saints have to be believers in God? Week 6 - evaluation lesson There is a powerpoint for each lesson along with worksheets, planning and resources where relevant. This is a really enjoyable unit of work and I hope you enjoy teaching it as much as I do!
