The 5 worksheets are editable .docx files and a pdf, they have teacher’s answers at the back
Conductors and Insulators. This includes a definition, space to practise drawing a circuit diagram to test items to confirm if they are conductors or insulators. A practical can be carried out and pupils complete 2 tables with items and materials, as either conductors or insulators.
Heating Effect of a Current. This includes a definition and the opportunity to make a fuse from nichrome wire to show the heating effect of a current as the wire glows read and melts. This can be a class practical or demo. This introduces the ammeter and pupils measure the current the wire melts at.
Current and Charge. The definition is introduced for current. Pupils are helped to draw circuit diagrams for series and parallel circuits. Pupils are introduced to the rule of current in series and parallel.
Current in a Series and Parallel Circuit. This allows pupils to calculate current in different circuits and gain more confidence with reading circuit diagrams.
Current in a Series and Parallel Circuit. The outcome is the same as above, but has extension circuits near the bottom, as the circuits are more complicated. This is a tricky KS3 worksheet so good for differentiation.
Answers are included for all worksheets.

A great revision technique to go up a grade in Physics A Level is to memorise all the definitions. These are 1,2 or 3 mark wave definitions which will give your students the edge and it is especially useful for students who depend on their maths skills to solve problems, but it is difficult to derive an A Level standard definition during an exam!
The definitions are for:
frequency
period
wavelength
amplitude
longitudinal wave
transverse wave
coherent
superposition
phase
phase difference
path difference
Huygen’s construction
diffraction
standing wave
node
antinode
refraction
critical angle
total internal reflection
focal point
virtual image
real image
plane polarisation
ultrasound
infrasound
wavefront
intereference
This pdf is easy to make into a set of colourful flash cards, and having them around, as opposed to online, ensures students can use them for a quick starter, plenary or for a break during a long lesson.
The definitions are written to an A Level standard, double checked against mark schemes on past paper exams for the wave topic.
