An introduction to Christmas vocabulary. Children find the correct word from the box and label the pictures. When children are familiar with the vocabulary instructions could be given as to the colour a particular image is.

Les horaires de ma routine du lundi au vendredi
A gap fill-in activity using a variety of verbs to describe what you do during the school week. Questions asking at what time to do you each of the activities. I have use red ink to intoduce the 'you&' form of the verb. Where the word remains the same as in the first person I have underlined it. Green words are for new vocabulary used for the children that I teach. These can easily be changed back to black if need be. Hope you find this useful. Any feedback is most welcome.

An activity to introduce vocabulary for clothes and footwear. Aim is to match the correct word to the picture.
Nouns and the definite article
A simple gap fill worksheet for revising le, la et les. Boxes have been left blank for pupils to create their own plurals. Suitable for LA and SEN pupils. Feedback as to how successful this worksheet was, would be much appreciated.

FRENCH - In my town - Dans ma ville - Worksheets
A selection of worksheets to introduce names of buildings and places that you may find in a town. I have made separate worksheets -mas. and fem. find this to be a visual help to my students when they progress to writing a comprehension piece on the subject of ‘my town’ from memory. Follow on worksheets to practise the phrase ‘dans ma ville il y a…’ and ‘dans ma ville il n’y a pas de… .’ There is also an exercise to read discriptions of a village and towns and to translate into English. I have included an answer sheet. I have also prepared a test which also includes an answer sheet. There is also an exercise where children write a discription of a town. Finally there is a Connect 4 game to play. There are 12 files in total. Feedback is always welcome. If you consider this worth buying ‘un très grand merci.’

FRENCH - La Saint Valentin - Activities - Worksheets
Vocabulary in French to learn and practice for St Valentine's day. Follow-on worksheet with questions to reinforce vocabulary. I have included a black and white copy of the vocabulary for those of you who are unable to photocopy in colour. There is also a word search for the students and a completed one for teachers. Finally there are a selection of St. Valentine cards to colour. They just need to be folded in half and cut to make 2 cards. Doubt they will be popular with the boys, but you never know... Qu'est-ce que Hector fait pour aider à la maison
A longer piece of comprehension revising household chores. Focuses on subject and direct object pronouns and time expressions. Able students can produce their own writing about Hector’s help around the the home. Or there are questions to answer after reading all about Hector the hardworking and very helpful dog.
My French Grammar Book
A mini book to make and fill with grammar rules. I thought this idea would help my students to retain and remember those rules which we have covered to date. I shall be adding more rules as and when we learn them. If anyone has any suggestions as to further rules or tips which night help my students, please do leave a comment. Thanks.

Reading comprehension describing physical appearance and personalities of six characters. Revises: greetings, age, hair description, eye colour and vocab. for twelve different personalities. Also practices the use of quantifiers: un peu, très, assez. Also includes negatives and ne/jamais. I shall be adding a question worksheet as time allows. Please take the time to comment. A book to make about 40 spiders in the haunted castle of Monsieur Patatras. Simple dialogue. Ideal for reinforcing: il y a, rooms in a house together with prepositions and of course counting to 40. Story ends with a question which will promote lots of opportunity for conversation. I have included intructions of how to make the mini book. You will need to make 2 books to accomodate all the pages. I used black paper to make my books. I'm sure the students will love this story for Halloween.
