My weekday routine
To practice reflexive verbs. Also includes the use of other verbs which describe what you do during weekdays. These include: aller, étudier, boire, manger, jouer, faire (les devoirs) regarder and lire. Enjoy and have fun!!
La fille qui aime lire
I am always looking for ideas to consolidate topics which my students have learnt. This simple activity recaps and revises: name/age/nationality/hair/colour/clothes/opinions/propositions/verbs. Children are given the picture and have to find as many sentences as poss. which describe something in the picture. I have included a sample of sentences to give an idea. Possibilities are endless. Children have to see how many of those sentences they can find. Stickers for those who find different ones and to the person who finds the most. Ideal for pair work. Feedback is always valued.
KS2/KS3 French - plurals

Buildins in a town to name. Enhances dictionary skills.
Où habites-tu?
Graduated worksheet introducing the concept of saying 'I live in (name of town/city) in (name of country). using 'à&' and &';en'. Children have to match the correct city to the correct country. Reinforces knowledge of countries and their flags.
Ma routine du lundi au vendredi.
Key phrases to introduce a variety of verbs in the first person to describe a 'Monday to Friday' routine. Hope you find this useful. Any feedback would be most welcome.
Les questions et les réponses
A simple graduated activity forming questions, using negatives and giving answers. Revises familiar objects. One box has been left empty for pupil to make up their own question and answer.
Vrai ou Faux
A tick box fill in worksheet to say whether or not statements are correct. Those statements which are incorrect have to be written out correctly. I work with 8/9 years old who completed it quite easily. Your feed-back of how well it worked for you would be greatly appreciated. Statements can obviously be changed to fit whatever children have learnt.

A fun but simple comprehension. A story about Father Christmas and his two reindeers on Christmas Eve. Where could the other reindeers be? Practice and revision for: il y a, prepositions and Christmas vocabulary.

A snakes and ladders board game using a variety of verbs to describe your daily routine. I have chosen to include specific items of food and drink so as to introduce the verbs: manger and boire. Comprehension picture and text describing Jacque's bedroom. Concentrating on the use of prepositions, but also revises 'je m'appelle - nationalité - les couleurs et âge. Students read text and draw the missing items. More able students could add more details to the text. Feedback is always welcome.

A selection of Christmas colour by numbers worksheets. A fun way to practise the names of colours in Spanish and recap number names… Helps also with word recognition. Also useful for early finishers. I have included the colours: azul claro/azul oscuro and verde claro/verde oscuro. There is also a Christmas Tree decorated with familiar objects to colour. SPANISH - MI CIUDAD - MY TOWN
A selection of worksheets to introduce names of buildings and places that you may find in a town. I have made separate worksheets -mas. and fem. I find this to be a visual help to my students when they progress to writing a comprehension piece on the subject of ‘my town’ from memory. A follow on exercise covers how to say what there is and isn’t in your town. There is also a translation exercise.

FRENCH - FOOD - WHAT DO RABBITS LIKE EATING
A fun activity for young children to learn some basic food items and the days of the week in French. Also practices the expressions ‘don’t like’ and ‘love’. The story is about ‘un lapin’, On Monday he eats a cake, but rabbits don’t like cakes. On Tuesday he eats a lemon, but rabbits don’t like lemons. Finally on Sunday he eats a carrot, rabbits LOVE carrots. Children should be able to join in and retell the story with lots of practice.
