Also there is a leaflet for comparing the two different settings. Our audience and purpose was that the old man has found a wife. She wants to live in the tin forst as she thinks it's easier to manage, he wants to live in the jungle as he waited for so long for something to grow. Children to study adn read first verse of The Windmill by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow and draw images related, for example, some drew a windmill with an angry giant face others drew a tiger with sharp teeth to represent granite jaws.

Wordmat with a_e sound words on, use to write silly sentences. Can be an independent phonics activity. Could also remove the word and ask ch. to fill a_e word in.
