Colourful and interesting numeracy in Art & Design word mat I designed this to be used alongside the NCFE Graphic Design & Art & Design qualifications, however it would also work for KS3 and KS4 in mainstream schools. Contains cubism, tessellation, symmetry, perspective, enlargement and scale factor, and ratio I have also created a literacy mat in a similar style I have laminated these and they are available for my learners in a folder in the classroom. They could also be stuck to desks or inserted into portfolios to support with annotation and theory work.

This is a resource I have created for my current setting: I work in an alternative provision for excluded young people and I have identified a large number that have difficulties with their emotion regulation and mental health This resource would work for KS3-4 The different ANTS can be laminated and used as reference, and there is a worksheet / intervention sheet that can be completed with young people. The idea behind the factsheets was to have a bank of resources for reference, both for myself and for students. These are a series of design movement influences sheets created for a unit of work that I am currently producing. The unit of work is based around graphic illustration and the resources provide a series of design movements and explain how they have influenced illustration. I will be laminating these for reference in class, however they would also work well on a display board. This is a booklet that I have created for the boys I work with in the Young Offenders Institute. It is designed to be self-directed, but can also be used as part of classroom teaching. This is perfect for learners studying any course at KS4 or Year 9 minimum. The focus of the booklet is gun crime in the United States. The booklet makes reference to geography skills and graphic design skills, with literacy encouraged throughout the booklet in the form of questions and answers. I decided to create this booklet after watching some of the Louis Theroux documentaries on Netflix (around gun crime in the United States). These would be a potentially great add-on to the booklet.
