These resources are bits that I created during my PGCE year, when I taught GCSE Photography (AQA)
The resources include a variety of activities, such as starters / plenaries /homework
The composition worksheets were used alongside a selection of photographs that I printed as well (these can be selected based on the class / themes etc)
Feel free to contact me with any questions!
I have started to create my own resources for Unit 01. As I create the lessons, I will upload them individually. Once I have a full Learning Objective uploaded, I will create a bundle!
PLEASE NOTE: The Food & Nutrition resources were all designed in the 2020-21 academic year when I taught this subject. I have since left the role and have not been back and checked for any links that no longer work.
This resource is from LO1: Understand the environment in which hospitality and catering providers operate
L1 - Types of Establishment
L2 - Types of Food Service
L3 - Contract Catering
L4 - Standards & Ratings
L5 - Hotel Star Ratings
L6 - Hospitality & Catering Suppliers
L7 - Food Hygiene Ratings
L7 - Food Hygiene Ratings (a)
L7 - Food Hygiene Ratings (b)
L7 - Extension / Recap / Assessment Point - A great proforma for assessment in any subjects!
L8 - Job Roles (this is a large PowerPoint with multiple lessons included)
Please note: The majority of the lessons are designed with online learning in mind, due to the current circumstances. They are easily adapted however, to work when practical lessons are back up and running!
If the formatting is off when you download it, this may be due to my font choice, I apologise in advance (Century Gothic).
Any questions please ask me :)

A set of worksheets relating to different graphic designers
Each one encourages the learner to consider the designer and the reasons behind the given example, with reference made to the visual elements of design
Work well with the NCFE Creative qualifications, but would also work as a homework task for mainstream KS3 / KS4 Art & Design based subjects
I have started to create my own resources for Unit 01. As I create the lessons, I will upload them individually. Once I have a full Learning Objective uploaded, I will create a bundle!

This resource is from UNIT 02: LO1 - Understand the importance of nutrition when planning menus
It covers AC 1.1: Describe functions of nutrients in the human body
The resource includes all of the required knowledge for AC 1.1 in a colourful and easy to follow layout. There are also tasks relating to the knowledge to check understanding and to ensure students are fully confident with the learning.

Colourful and interesting numeracy in Art & Design word mat
I designed this to be used alongside the NCFE Graphic Design & Art & Design qualifications, however it would also work for KS3 and KS4 in mainstream schools.
Contains cubism, tessellation, symmetry, perspective, enlargement and scale factor, and ratio
I have also created a literacy mat in a similar style
I have laminated these and they are available for my learners in a folder in the classroom. They could also be stuck to desks or inserted into portfolios to support with annotation and theory work.
I have started to create my own resources for Unit 01. As I create the lessons, I will upload them individually. Once I have a full Learning Objective uploaded, I will create a bundle!

L8 - Create an Establishment (AfL opportunity, summarises all the knowledge taught so far in LO1 / LO2. Contains differentiated booklet for LPA students, would also work as a cover lesson!)

This is a resource I have created for my current setting: I work in an alternative provision for excluded young people and I have identified a large number that have difficulties with their emotion regulation and mental health
This resource would work for KS3-4
The different ANTS can be laminated and used as reference, and there is a worksheet / intervention sheet that can be completed with young people.
I will be uploading a range of interventions / emotional literacy resources over the upcoming weeks
Feel free to message me with any questions
This is part of an ongoing project I am developing. As I complete parts of it, I will upload them individually and eventually as a full bundle.
The pages contain mini factfiles about each design movement, with key artists / designers and information. They are designed to be cut out (black outlines).
Perfect printed as a display, used laminated as flashcards, used to encourage students to put the movements in order, or made into a mini booklet for reference
I have used a Mac to create this resource so I have uploaded both a PDF and PowerPoint file, as I often find some fonts and formatting are a bit off when opened on certain computers!
Feel free to ask any questions
I created a huge number of Artist research factsheets during my PGCE. The information for these was all found on the internet (please note I have not reworded any, merely copied and pasted). The idea behind the factsheets was to have a bank of resources for reference, both for myself and for students.
I have printed all of these out and have them in separate folders (relating to style of art/design). I have made great use of them during my time teaching in a young offenders institute, and the learners like to select their own designers for inspiration to develop their ideas.
This bundle contains: Graphic Designers
I also will be uploading:
Photographers, Installation Artists, 3D Artists, Street / Graffiti Artists, Conceptual Artists, Illustrators, Traditional and Modern Fine Artists and Textiles based Artists.

These are a series of design movement influences sheets created for a unit of work that I am currently producing.
The unit of work is based around graphic illustration and the resources provide a series of design movements and explain how they have influenced illustration.
I will be laminating these for reference in class, however they would also work well on a display board.
I will also include these in the full resource for the NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Creative Media (Graphic Design) - Unit 08
Feel free to ask me any questions!
I created these resources during my time working as a Teaching Assistant in a school with a large majority of EAL learners. We held an EAL focused day and I provided resources for the creative subjects - Art & Design and Design & Technology.
The resources include -
Key words (that can be laminated and used in reference to equipment in the classroom)
Worksheets relating to logos (a bit of fun), and colour
Hello sheet in different languages
Please feel free to contact me with any questions!
This is a booklet that I have created for the boys I work with in the Young Offenders Institute.
It is designed to be self-directed, but can also be used as part of classroom teaching.
This is perfect for learners studying any course at KS4 or Year 9 minimum.
The focus of the booklet is gun crime in the United States. The booklet makes reference to geography skills and graphic design skills, with literacy encouraged throughout the booklet in the form of questions and answers.
I decided to create this booklet after watching some of the Louis Theroux documentaries on Netflix (around gun crime in the United States). These would be a potentially great add-on to the booklet.
Feel free to contact me with any questions and feedback!

L6 - Risk Assessments
L7 - Risk Assessments 2
L8 - Risk & Security
L9 - Injuries and Prevention in the Industry
L10 - Fire Safety & Customer Safety (Price reflects time spent on content and potential for the PowerPoint to run over 2 lessons)

This resource contains:
Unit booklet - Unit 02 of the NCFE Level 1 Certificate in Art & Design (Complete a final art and design project)
Title page
& all mentioned resources needed for the completion of the unit
I designed this for young offenders that I teach to provide them with a structured way to enter designs to the Koestler Awards.
The format of the booklet is highly praised by EQA visits
