A Grade 7 project that my students enjoyed producing! This is a fun way to recap the vocabulary for physical and personality descriptions.

This is a lesson based on the introductory teaching of the relative pronouns qui, que, dont in French. This contains a presentation, two practice worksheet and one test/quiz. For copyright reasons I am unable to upload the video that accompanies the lesson, but if you have access to the American textbook “Bien dit”, you should be able to find it and download it easily.

A resource inspired from an MFL workshop led by Gianfranco Conti. I chose this song by George Brassens as I find him very articulate and clear to listen to and this song contains many cultural references (Le Radeau de la Meduse, Fluctuat nec mergitur etc.). The purpose of this activity is to help students to focus on French phonetics. It is aimed to help students understand the sounds produced by certain combinations of letters (ie eau, on, ou, au, en) in French.
