Introducing, “Christmas Symbols”, a creative way to get your students excited and learn about Christmas! Great for ESL and Special Ed. too! This package contains: a sheet with 9 Christmas pictures/symbols in color a sheet of the same pictures/symbols in black and white A sheet with the vocabulary words for the 9 pictures/symbols The students could use these sheets to cut and match the pictures/symbols with the vocabulary word. Also included in the package are 4 sheets that once folded, colored and decorated will become cards that could be shared with family and friends. They could be personalized on the inside with a message or poem. There is also a blank card sheet that could be used by students to draw their own picture(s). A word search with 20 symbol words is also included (with answer sheet) 2 Christmas poem templates are included for students to learn or review the meaning of Christmas. A website sheet is included. On this sheet there are 5 websites that could be used as mini lessons on Christmas symbols.

The Novel Activities package is a creative way for the students to recap their knowledge and understanding of the novel, Charlotte's Web, by E. B. White. Students will be able to give you information on the setting, characters, plot and write sentences using some of the vocabulary words. They will also have the opportunity to write about one of the many themes found in the novel. This package includes: -3 page book report -2 word searches (with answer sheets) -2 sentence writing sheets -"Charlotte" Acrostic sheet -2 vocabulary match sheets (with answer sheet) P.S. When printing horizontal pages, change page set up on printer to "landscape". You have the flexibility to use each page of this resource at the same time or at different times of your novel study, depending what your lesson focus is. For example, if you are discussing settings and characters, just use page 1, and so on. As an alternative, you can cut out each section/part of the resource and mount it on cardstock to use in Language centers, Literature Circles or Mobiles. You have the flexibility to use each page of this resource at the same time or at different times of your novel study, depending what your lesson focus is. For example, if you are discussing settings and characters, just use page 1, and so on. My Sentence Making Journey is a great way to get younger students started in making/writing complete sentences. The booklet has the "Alphabet" as its primary theme. The completed sentences have at least one word of the highlighted alphabet from the page. Included for the younger or struggling student, are sentence strips. These strips could be photocopied, each word could be cut out and the students could arrange to make a complete sentence. The students can then paste the completed sentence on the sheet. A picture of the sentence can then be drawn and colored by the students. Each sheet contains: -the Uppercase and lower case letter that students can trace over for review/practice. -a scrambled section of words. (includes capital letter and period) -a section for students to write the complete sentence. -a drawing section where students can express their creativity.
