2 week (8 lesson) SPAG/English unit based on key skills such as punctuation, word classes, sentence types. Includes written plan, lesson slides on SMART notebook (PPTS available also) and lesson resources for each lesson. Would work well to recap key SPAG skills from KS1 for Year 3 or to recap from Y3 for Year 4. All based around different Roald Dahl extracts, which are included on the SMARTs so no need to own the books! Involves SPAG and writing activities throughout and ends with a final written assessment piece.
Was originally used in September to begin the year after COVID remote learning but would come in handy to recap. Fully planned and ready to go, but also adaptable where necessary :)

SMARTs for each weeks worth of lessons (3 per week). Also available as PPT files.
Lesson by lesson activities based on reading skills - between one and two written activities per week, verbal activities for other lessons.
Lessons are based on VIPERS and include the VIPERS cartoons to aid children in identifying the skills - they also explain the VIPERS to the children and explain what the skills are.
