Contained in this resource are three differentiated worksheets each including 20 Halloween themed word problems. Each sheet is attractive and contains single, two-step and multi-step word problems linked to Halloween. Each sheet also contains its own answer sheet (therefore this resources conatins 6 separate sheets).
These word problems are suitable for children aged 7 -11.
This resource contains a worksheet where pupils are asked to calculate the missing angles around a circle. Some angles have been calculated for the pupils...this resource has been differentiated 3 ways. This is a 'ready-to-go' resource' - all the answers have already been worked out.

This activity is a Design Technology Activity which requires children to select materials from a virtual 'shop’ and collaborate to plan and build a bridge that will span a distance between two chosen points. I’ve included an information sheet outlining this DT activity. I've also added a planning sheet for pupils and an excel spreadsheet for teachers to record the results of this activity should they wish to assess it or turn it into a competition...who wouldn’t? As a free resource this has had over 7500 downloads. It has been updated and is a 'ready-to-go' resource with everything you need to have a great afternoon.
This 'ready-to-go' resource includes everything you need to get going on a really exciting maths investigation linked to probability. The basic idea is that children 'bet' a fictitious £1 to guess which colour counter will be pulled from a bag.
This is a set of 18 fraction word problems suitable for children in years 4, 5 operating at greater depth & children in year 6 operating between age related expectations and greater depth in the national curriculum. I've used it with my year 6 class and even the very brightest children were challenged by some of the questions. These questions are good ways to test if a child is operating at greater depth. As a free resource this had over 83,000 downloads. It has been updated with the answers included and is a 'ready-to-go' resource.
Contained in this resource are two attractive maths loop games. These games are 'tried and tested' and are ideal as a fun maths starter or plenary. Game 1 – Roman Numerals. Game 2 – Pairs of numbers that total to 100.
You can use these games to assess your children on whether they know the following statements from the Year 3 and 4 Mathematics Programme of Study;
• read Roman numerals to 100 (I to C) and know that over time, the numeral system changed to include the concept of 0 and place value
• Solve problems including missing number problems
These resources are 'ready-to-go' simply download, print off, cut up and laminate and let the fun begin. In my experience classes love the challenge of beating their best time on these games.
Contained in this resource is a maths ‘Whodunnit’ activity. This resource involves pupils in finding out which one of the other eight reindeers stole Rudolph’s Red Nose, by working out maths clues and eliminating the suspects.
This activity will be guaranteed to give your children a great maths lesson and is suitable for children from Year 2 to year 7. All answer sheets are provided! This resource was popular last year and has been improved and updated for 2018.
This activity could be collaborative or individual and is guaranteed good fun! This has been differentiated two ways and contains some much more challenging 3D shape, BODMAS type questions in the Higher Ability version. If you liked this resource there are another two available for download…'Who stole Christmas? ‘whodunnit’ and ‘Who kidnapped the elves?’ maths ‘whodunnit.’

Here is everything you need to create a really fun fitness circuit in a small space. An ideal resource of those wet PE lessons when all you have is the hall available. This resource includes an individual pupil record sheet for a circuit of activities I’ve called the 'Boot Camp’ Circuit. It includes 9 different stations, each has a description of the activity and an equipment list. We have a small hall and this can be set out with limited space. I’ve included a floor plan. This could cater for up to 36 pupils with 2 pairs of pupils completing each of the 9 activities one at a time! I’ve also added picture cards which can be put at each station, and to encourage reading skills they each contain a brief description of each activity. These activities can be changed to suit the equipment you have at your disposal. As a free download this had over 37,000 downloads and has been updated and is a ‘ready-to-go’ resource. Enjoy!
