Simple one-sheet of questions. The aim of this one is to explicitly talk about doing calculations that do not change the result. ie : multiplying by one, and explicitly linking something like 5/5 to the concept of one.

A resource that took me 5 lessons to go through. So there’s a unit here. (Adding in a few little worksheets I found online for some extra questions) Introduces sin and cos separately, using similar triangles. Then moves onto trig tables, so students aren’t just pressing a ‘magic’ button on their calculator. Then a little exercise choosing between them. Then tan. Then choosing sin/cos/tan. Then angles. Lots here. Lots of questions, lots of examples. No challenging or problem solving questions. This was meant as an introduction.

Quite like this. A little discussion on finding the midpoint, followed by an example problem pair, followed by a very scaffolded exercise followed by an activity where pupils have to look at what’s changed, which I think is quite cool. I used Dr Frost to top off a little bit of practice here, too.

Really simple resource. Changing the subject when you need to factorise. Split into three sections -If your terms are already grouped -If you need to group them -If you need to multiply across and then regroup. Example problem pairs and exercises for all, although the exercises aren’t anything very exciting at all.

Loads of stuff here. (But no rearranging that requires factorisation) Example problem pairs. At least 5 different activities. A discussion about what it means for something to be the subject of an equation. An activity just asking pupils if the first step is correct (I think this is quite important). Some mini whiteboard work. A stardard exercise. An activity where they have to rearrange scientific formulas (is SMSC still a thing?)
