There are four resources here to reinforce, revise and test daily routine vocab in the present tense. There is a match up activity of 15 phrases English to German. There is a vocab sheet which sets a written task for pupils to write their own timeline of their daily routine. There is also a word puzzle where the key phrases are jumbled, pupils rearrange these phrases demonstrating recall of the phrases. Ideal as starters, plenaries, tests, homework or revision. The solution to the puzzle is provided. The resources can be easily edited or printed.
The teacher presentation is a summary of 20 school rules using modal verbs. This is great for revision. There are two tests. In one test the pupils match the English statement to the German phrase in a grid. Alternatively the grid could be cut up and used in a kagan "Quiz Quiz trade" activity. The second test is translation from English to German. There is differentiated support whereby the number of letters provided for each word is provided. This works well as reinforcement to assess recall of the vocabulary.
Match up activity of pros and cons of mobiles in school. This can be used as a starter or plenary activity. The vocabulary can be used to prompt debate for pupils to argue for or against mobiles in school. Easy to print and cut up.
rolling loop of 18 times in German - teacher reads out the time in English and pupils compete against the clock to find the time in German. This is fun and interactive testing pupils knowledge of analogue times.
15 phrases to find in the present tense. Two versions are provided, in one version the pupils find the German and in the second version the pupils translate the phrases into German and find the 15 key phrases.

2 crosswords - clues in English answers in German assessing pupils' knowledge of analogue time. The solutions are provided for both. Great for plenaries, revision or vocabulary tests.

The advantages are numerous. The teacher presentation (PowerPoint) is accompanied by a 20 page student workbook (PDF).

Ideal resources to consolidate understanding of forming the past tense using avoir and etre. Pupils translate several sentences using jumbled pronouns, auxiliary verbs and past participles. Thee are two copies of the worksheet on an A4 sheets. There is a supporting teacher presentation to go through the solution. Easy to use and guide pupils towards the key rules. CLOTHES, COLOURS AND OPINIONS
Cover work or revision work where pupils need to translate 19 items of clothing into French. They can then find the items in the word search.
