The teacher presentation is a summary of 20 school rules using modal verbs. This is great for revision. There are two tests. In one test the pupils match the English statement to the German phrase in a grid. Alternatively the grid could be cut up and used in a kagan "Quiz Quiz trade" activity. The second test is translation from English to German. There is differentiated support whereby the number of letters provided for each word is provided. This works well as reinforcement to assess recall of the vocabulary.

A colour coded resource whereby the French is provided back to front e.g. oda = ado = adolescent. Pupils write out the French correctly for the 56 vocab items and then translate. The solution is also provided. This is a fun way of learning vocab and as there are several expressions it is suited to pupils completing in pairs or teams. It is easy to change the text to one colour if you don't want the text colour coded according to gender. Easy to print too.

The solution to the crossword is provided. This is useful to show how essays arguing for or against a topic are set out. CLOTHES, COLOURS AND OPINIONS Cover work or revision work where pupils need to translate 19 items of clothing into French. They can then find the items in the word search. There is a prompt PPT slide for teacher to display to aid weaker pupils. The second part of the worksheet is 21 adjectives to match up to their English translation. There is also a word search for the descriptions. A solution is provided for the adjective match up. Easy to print and edit. A crossword that can be printed off that focuses on clothes and adjectival agreement. Solution provided in teacher PPT. There is also a game where pupils select a number or a colour, translate the sentence. The winner reveals the hidden picture. This template can be edited to suit other topics and is great for plenaries and competitive evision.
