I love to sing! And I love to see children enjoy singing. That's why I write songs which I hope kids will enjoy singing as much as I love writing and teaching them. All songs come with performance and backing tracks as well as scores so you can start singing as soon as possible. Enjoy!

Tudor song- Don't Forget Lady Jane Grey!

(7)
This is a fun song about the Tudor kings and queens. I’ve tried to create a medieval feel with the music too so I hope it’s more than just a song about facts. 'Henry the Seventh killed Richard the Third, First time the Tudor name was heard, Had two sons but his first son, Arthur died, So Henry the Eighth was the one who survived’… 'Lady Jane Grey, the nine days Queen, Shortest reign you’ve ever seen, Went to the block, her head went splat, ‘Cos Bloody Mary took the throne and that was that!’…

This is a song inspired by Raymond Briggs' story, Jim and The Beanstalk. It was originally written for a class doing an assembly using the story as a foundation.

Castles

This is a thoughtful song about the stories and history of castles. I hope it will provoke discussion about what castles were used for and about how they are portrayed in stories as well as their role in our documented history.

Ready! Set! Go!

An energetic and fun song to warm up for any sporty event. The repeated refrain: Ready! Set! Go! sets the tone and works best if performed as an echo between two groups of singers. Actions are a must - just follow the words and have fun!

Times Tables Song - Time Warp Twelves

(5)
This is a groovy song designed to help children learn their 12 times table in a fun and musical way. It uses repetition and echoing of sums and sequences to further enhance the numbers and is great fun to listen to and move to. From: 'Tuning The Tables, Musical Multiplications', by Bakertunes, available on iTunes and Amazon mp3.

Lively and fun song for Jubilee celebrations. Children can enjoy giving 'three cheers' for the Queen and singing about all the fun things that are happening around the Jubilee celebrations, as well as learning a bit of history! Celebrate! Celebrate! Let's have fun and celebrate! The Queen has ruled for sixty years So wave your flags and give three cheers!
