The Resources within this shop are all designed for the teaching of Mathematics for those in the age range 7 - 18 years old. Most resources consist of a PowerPoint lesson followed by a worksheet for the students. With over twenty nine years of experience, the powerpoint/worksheets within the shop have been used successfully by myself and colleagues over that time. As a head of department for over 15 years, the department has yearly been judged as adding substantial value to students grades.

7 Resources
This brings together a group of worksheets I’ve been using at school as a means of identifying which topics my higher level students are good at and which topics require further work. It consists of 12 sheets each having 12 questions pitched at the higher level for the GCSE mathematics exam.

This is a lesson I usually use for year 7 or low ability classes in year 8 or 9. The aim of the lesson is to demonstrate how we change the symbols when working backwards. I teach this lesson before I move onto the solving of simple equations. After the worked examples there is a worksheet which students can complete in class or as a piece of homework.

This lesson is a follow on from the lesson on differentiation by first principles. Following that lesson and homework, students should by now have realised a shorter approach with differentiation. This lesson develops that understanding, whilst still remaining with the positive power. There is an assumption here that they would have met Tangents and Normals to the curve through their geometry work. The lesson also contains a worksheet for students to work through.

The collection contains examples of factorising numerator and denominator before cancelling common factors and also includes multiplying and dividing algebraic fractions. The lesson also contains a worksheet, with answers.
