This is a very clear speaking/writing frame, designed to make it easy for KS4 students to talk and write about their plans for the future and what they think of marriage. Support given with English translations, but also challenges students to use more complex structures if they choose to. My students find these ‘Knowledge Organisers’ incredibly easy and helpful to use!

x4 mats for £4! These mats are differentiated into Bronze, Silver and Gold, so students feel supported but are also really motivated to push themselves; they know exactly what they need to do to improve their writing and speaking. Each of the ones uploaded here - one for Year 7, one for Year 8, one for Year 9, and one for Years 10+11 - include Bronze, Silver and Gold categories of connectives, qualifiers, adverbs of time, opinions and tenses. I also use them when students self or peer-assess their work and because it’s so clear and easy to read they love it! I print them in colour on A4 and laminate them, then give them out to students during writing and speaking tasks. They could also be printed on A3 and made as a poster. Great also for revision. I call them ‘Progress Mats’ / ‘Tapis de Progres’ - I hope you like them :)
