Here you will find all of my worksheets so that you can delve in and steal or use any of my ideas. Less planning time for you meaning you have more time to do your own thing. I will be putting up my maths and English worksheets on here to help new teachers or teachers that would like some advice on achieving mastery especially with the core subjects. If it's helpful and saves you time, tell your friends! :) Please follow me. I am a primary school teacher at an outstanding school.

Can be used anytime to review place value. I am spending the last week of term 4 reviewing each topic we have covered so far to help the children retain what I have taught them. The other topic reviews will be on here shortly. Great to do for the final week and you can peer assess the answers. If needing support, they can use partners.

Here is a worksheet where children need to compare visual representations of numbers, which the new National Curriculum strives towards. Any blank questions or parts of questions is where I will be drawing my own place value counters on such as 1, 10 and 100. You will also need to put in the blank lines between the numbers.

Adding and subtracting numbers mentally and using the column method year 3 MASTERY

This is worksheet has been made around a lesson where I want the children to decide which is better to do. Adding/subtract the numbers mentally or use the column method. Children either want to answer a sum quickly mentally and get it wrong or spend ages doing a column method when they could work it out mentally in seconds. I'm going to go through what to look for when deciding to add/subtract mentally or through the column method.
