I have found that the Year 13 DT GCSE students need more direction in the research section and this needs to feed into their specification. Taking a more project management style approach so that everything is planned will hopefully guide students to be more independent in their own enquiry and result in far more meaningful outcomes for this section. I thoroughly researched this, coming up with a massive bank of relevant subject specific vocabulary/questions/processes/techniques for helping students to get top marks in this section. LIVEN UP YOUR DISPLAYS! This is a nice Yr 7 1 hour activity - all that is needed is colouring pencils and scissors as well as a4 paper trimmed in half into strips. I also printed out and distributed the inspiration sheets - or have on board. A nice cover or filler as well as the end of term! Enjoy!
